A compact Rivertown with waterfront trails and a food-forward Main Street
Dobbs Ferry is a small, hilly Rivertown with an outsized reputation for its restaurants and its walkability. The Old Croton Aqueduct runs through the center, the waterfront park opens onto wide Hudson and Palisades views, and the whole village is easy to explore on foot from the train.

The Dobbs Ferry Metro-North Hudson Line station is at the foot of the village, about 35-45 minutes to Grand Central. Downtown and station parking are limited, so the train is often the easiest way in.
Spring and fall are ideal for aqueduct walks and outdoor dining. Summer sunsets over the Palisades from Waterfront Park are a local highlight.
